About Songbird Studios

Does your child love to perform? Does your child love music? Having fun and making friends? Songbird is the place for you!

At Songbird we pride ourselves on nurturing young singing voices, and maintaining a healthy approach to improve vocal technique and performance quality. Building confidence and self-esteem to learn and thrive and also have fun, all sharing a passion for the arts through creativity, allowing children to express themselves and be who they want to be.

Songbird is a safe, supportive learning environment, promotes inclusion, positivity and celebrating diversity, whilst learning technique safely and efficiently.

Our Classes and Lessons

At Songbird Studios we offer a vibrant blend of academy classes and personalised 1-1 lessons, which children have a space to have fun, socialise, build upon their new or existing skills and are guided by our professional team of qualified teachers.

Academy Classes

We offer a range of classes in singing, drama drama, musical theatre, and musical theory where they promote fun, inclusion, and positivity, all whilst socialising and learning techniques and skills.

Unlock your artistic potential with personalised and expert-led 1-1 lessons that promote individual growth in singing, piano, guitar, DJ and music theory production.

Student Requirements

This is ensure all students are ready and equipped to learn and to also practice professionalism and discipline.

Punctuation

Please ensure you arrive on time for all classes and parents pick up at correct finish time.

Uniform

All children for academy & 1-1 classes must wear Songbird t-shirt or hoody and black leggings or bottoms, along with sensible footwear.

Drinks & Snacks

All children must bring WATER to any classes held at Songbird, and appropriate snacks (no lollipops or hard sweets).

Preparation

All children must bring a notepad and folder for any lyrics, scripts or music theory. Along with any completed homework set in the previous week.

Exams 

Lamda Exams

At Songbird we offer LAMDA exams and have a 100% merit and distinction rate.

Exploring musicals, characters, emotions, and feelings and building vocal and acting through song skills in preparation for our exams.

LAMDA class is every Tuesday 4-4:30. The next exam session is April 2024.
