Songbirds is a safe, supportive learning environment, with a focus on building confidence and self-esteem and allowing children to express themselves to be who they want to be through the power of music.
At Songbirds there are group classes in singing, drama, musical theatre, music theory and teen harmony classes where they promote fun, inclusion, and positivity, all whilst socialising and learning techniques and skills.
Children who attend Songbirds can expect a wide range of performance opportunities, exams, recording experience, and music theory.
One-to-one sessions are also available in singing and piano for more personalised based learning.

Our Academy Classes
Singing
Songbirds’ group singing lessons explore the voice qualities and figures. Learning skills and techniques safely and efficiently, vocal health, performance quality, and harmonies. Working towards group performances and events.
Drama
Songbirds’ group drama classes work on skills such as; portraying a story, characterisation, script reading, interaction, space, timing, mood and atmosphere. Along with improvisation, accents and audience.
Musical Theatre
Songbirds’ musical theatre classes are a combination the skills learnt in singing and drama and putting them into practice, along with some basic dance and movement. Working on a musical for up and coming performances.
Music Theory
Songbirds’ music theory classes broaden musical knowledge and understanding alongside working on aural & attitude test practice.
Infant
Songbirds’ infant class focus on singing and drama skills, confidence and self-esteem as well as games and having fun! Also working on performance quality for show preparation.
Teen Harmony
Songbirds’ teen harmony class is a group choral class for Age 13+, our group teen harmony class focuses on voice technique, harmonies, performance quality, skills and preparation
