1-1 lessons are personalised and tailored to each individual student, catering for complete beginners up to professional singers, from age 4+.
Songbird is a safe and comfortable environment, building confidence and self-esteem to allow students to learn and thrive.
Exploring and connecting with different parts of your larynx to gain a clear understanding of how to create different qualities and outcomes with the voice learning a wide variety of skills and techniques to secure and strengthen your craft safely and efficiently.
We also cover vocal health, artist guidance, performance quality, microphone technique, and recording experience and also offer exams and performance opportunities.

Our 1-1 Lessons
Singing
Our mission is to firstly build confidence and self esteem, to give children and young adults the empowerment to use their voices. It is also how we use our voice, the majority of people speak and sing without knowing the science and anatomy behind it. So we are here to fill that void.
Piano
Songbirds’ 1-1 piano lessons are fun interactive, building theory and piano playing for all ages, whether it’s beginners just starting learning their first steps in piano to advanced adults or children that need help with Abrsm exams! Jonathan can help learn fun songs and the basics of piano, or work on technical playing and exam songs right through to grade 8.

Our curriculum is as diverse as our students. From foundational infant classes to advanced teenage harmony classes, we offer coaching in singing, drama, musical theatre, and music theory. Regardless of age or experience level, there’s a class tailored just for you.
